This shows the reality of war and how we take advantage of every day things such as being able to walk in a field without getting blown up.

Duffy likens it to the red Tabernacle light found in Catholic Churches - Symbolizes the eternal light of Christ. Reference to this is suggestive of it being something that will last for a long time.
