Creates a sense of order and symbolises the detachmen tthe photographer feels to the fact that he is used to seeing such suffering. it is not a shock but monotonous and an everyday fact of life

Questions the photographers hypocritical guilt and ptsd . He chose this job the people he photographs didn’t.

ends weak and lacking ‘real’ power and how ‘he sought approval’
