What were the results?
No smoke habit = link to parent enforced restrictions @home , legal restrictions in public places & school enforced bans
Home smoking bans more effective that legal bad in public relations places on uptake of smoking
School smoking bans associated with 11% reduction in uptake of smoking across all stages
What were the conclusions ?
Parental opposition to smoking and banning in the home reduced uptake of smoking in terms
Pedal restrictions have a more modest effect
What was the aim ?
To determine the relation between the extent of restrictions on smoking at home in school and in public places. And smoking uptake and prevalence among school students.
