Why do we add wadding?
A
An overall increased efficiency.
To absorbe standing waves, diminish panel resonances & increase the volume of the box.

How does wadding make the box louder?
A
Isothermal propagation.
Because after adding it, it takes longer to reach the extremities of the box. It simulates a bigger box. Simulating a bigger box.
