A

Total War is where the whole country is at war and civilians are at as much risk as the military.
DORA was the Defence of the Realm Act, which was a restriction of freedoms to help support the war effort, it included things such increased censorship, reduced hours for pubs, British Summer Time.
The First World War led to the Representation of the People Act - Women were able to vote for the first time. The desire to build homes ‘fit for heroes’
The Second World War led to the defeat of the Conservatives in the General Election and the establishment of the
NHS in 1948 to help defeat the 5 Giant Evils as identified during the war.
