Often considered to be the equal of a Grand Cru, the wines from here are elegant and vibrant with spicy floral aromas. Located adjacent and just south of La Tâche the vineyard was in fact offered Grand Cru status and the owners at the time in 1860 rejected it.

Traditional style; grapes are fully destemmed, crushed, cold-soaked and then fermented with native yeasts. The wines are unfined and unfiltered prior to bottling. No new oak for Bourgogne, Wines are incredibly silky, complex, and pure favoring finesse over extraction.

Among the most opulent capable in Vosne-Romanée that is characterized by robustness and structure with great natural concentration, firm ripe tannins and incredible refinement of texture. Intensely charming, silky, and sensual.
How would you describe the wines of Beauxmonts 1er Cru?
Variable depending on where in the vineyard the fruit is coming from. Wine from the best lieu-dit, Beauxmonts Bas is actually able to carry the Echezeaux Grand Cru designation as it is qualified as Grand Cru and these wines tend to be more voluptuous with impressive length.
