Player 1
If server misses…
Ball is given to opponents and you DO NOT rotate
When opposants miss serve…
Team one gets the ball and rotates

Clockwise
Explain the W serve reception…
Player 3 (middle front) is beyond attack line. 4 & 2 are right before attack line. Player six (middle back) middle of court (there side). 1 & 5 are at the back.
Offensive Play: where are players situated
1 is server and backcourt player, 5 and 6 are also backcourt players.
2,3 and 4 are front court players
3 hits
1) pass to setter
2) pass to front court players (2 or 4)
3) Over the net
Defensive Play: Blocking
3&4 jump at the net and prevents ball from entering their court side.
- If successful ball goes to opposing side
- If unsuccessful 5&2 should support the team, like a back up!
Rules of serving
- swerved cannot cross serving line, boundary!
- Ball can touch net
- Must land in bounds
- Teammates cannot help serve go over!
Rules of net play
- No touching net
- Double fault if both teams have a player touch net simultaneously
- Ball may touch net
- Back court player CANNOT block or spike in front of the attack line
- Players can step on but NOT over centreline!

Order
- Ball landing on line is in!
- Ball can be played by any body part. NO kicking!
- 3 hits permitted when ball in on teams side of court. BLOCKs DONT count
- Winner is first team toy reach 25 points with a minimum 2 point lead, or game goes on until first team gets 2 point lead
- Rotational order must remain the same until game end

Define a block
Defensive play by player in forward position to deflect a spike back to the spiker’s court
Define a carry
Illegal momentary rest of ball in hands
Define dead ball
A ball is declared after a point of decision stopping the play
