Consists of going to a specific place on the field. Touch Football is a sport of execution of precision and the pattern is so important for those reasons:

Q

Reasons for Patterns:

A
  1. To avoid confusion: for example: receiver in running on the left and QB is throwing to the right.
  2. To avoid collisions between the offence players.

Each pattern should have a fake so you can escape from your defender.

17
Q

STRATEGIES: ON OFFENCE

A
  • You don’t have to have a touchdown on each play
  • Long passes are not the best options because the percentage is lower than the passes done from 10 yards.
  • You have to keep in mind that you have 3 downs to complete 10 yards.
  • They are unlimited plays that you could execute in Touch Football and the major point on offence is to spread out so you’re not too crowded.
  • Use your teams strengths and the opposing teams weaknesses.
18
Q

Strategies on defense:

A
  • Players should be in movement.
  • Follow player by being between them and the end-zone.
  • Keep an eye on the QB to have a better view on whats going on
  • Try to anticipate.
