A

The pattern is that volcanoes meet at plate boundaries
An example is a cluster around the Pacific Ocean

Explain the difference between the appearance of shield and composite volcanoes

A

Shield volcanoes are flat whilst composite volcanoes are tall. This is because shield volcanoes has lava that takes longer to cool down, flowing longer distances. Composite has lava that travels short distances before cooling.

Another difference is the lava types. Shield volcanoes has thin and runny lava , whilst composite has thick, sticky lava

A

Sec-settlements and forests being destroyed.
Lots of money is going to be lost
Will lead to people being homeless and will be forced to relocate

It kills crops and collapses buildings

How does a waterfall form?

A

Waterfall forms when rivers flow over different layers of rocks by erosion
The soft layer erodes faster than the hard rock layer
This causes the hard rock layer to hang over the channel
Overtime the hard rock layer collapses creating the waterfall
