It was dormant until October 1979 from October until April
27th September 2014
Eurasian pacific and Philippine plate
No alerts or warmings
Higher earthquake activity - should have give a warning but they were not worried due to the dormancy
Heavy toxic ash covered 40-50cm of the mountain top
