How would you describe your voice?
It’s a tough question to tell you the truth. But I guess I would describe my voice as a bit of low-pitched and slightly husky one. Some people say I have kind of a radio voice. They think it’s quite clear. Mind you, I reckon that I’m a little bit soft-spoken so maybe it’s not the best voice for the radio.
Did you have the same voice as a child?
It’s hard to say, but as far as I remember when I was growing up, my voice was a little bit low-pitch and slightly husky, just like my voice today. Some of my form teachers at school said that I had a loud voice and it was really appropriate for the radio.
Did you like your voice?
Frankly speaking, no, I don’t really like my voice. I wish to have a highe-pitched voice and that I could be softer spoken.
Do you ever record your voice?
It’s funny you should ask that. Because actually I just started recording my voice recently. My English teacher recommended it as a way to improve my speaking skills, so I record some phrases with a mobile phone app and then compare it with a native speaker recording.
