Volume / Projection
How loudly and softly words are spoken.
Tone / Intonation
The quality of voice, as well as am indication of its emotional range such as stern, casual or heartfelt.
Rhythm
The timing and tempo of phrases and sentences.
Pitch
How high or low a voice is, as in thin and high or low and grumbling.
Dialect
A way of pronouncing words indicative of a certain geographical place or social group.
Phrasing
How the delivery of a line is shaped, for example the use of pauses or emphasis.
Inflections / Emphasis
The pitch of a line or a word going up for down. Emphasis is a way of stressing a word or phrase, which might include inflection.
Pace
How quickly or slowly lines are delivered.
Diction
How clearly and precisely words or lines are said; enunciation.
