the number you get when you divide 1 by that number; essentially, it’s the “flipped” version of a fraction, where the numerator and denominator are swapped, and when multiplied by the original number, the result is always 1; it’s also called a multiplicative inverse
Factor
Division with no remainder: A factor of a number is a number that divides that number completely without leaving a remainder.
Multiplication perspective: Factors are numbers that can be multiplied together to produce another number.
Always whole numbers: Factors are always whole numbers (integers), not fractions or decimals
Order of operations
the rules that tell us the sequence in which we should solve an expression with multiple operations
Greatest Common Factor
The highest number that divides exactly into two or more numbers
