An artifact that shows work in progress this type of board displays the workflow stages example started, design, coated, dusted, Don and where the taskbar with in that workflow. The team and interested stakeholders can tell ataglance what work is being performed by the team and what stage the items are in. This type of board encourages visibility and work in progress.
