Population-
All of the individuals of one species that live in the area at the same time
Organism-
One individual from a population
Community-
Different species that interact in some way
Ecosystem-
All the community in an area and the abiotic factor interact with and make up an ecosystem
Biome-
Larger region with plants and animals well adapted to the soil and climate of a region
Biosphere-
Level of biological organization that is made up of all the ecosystems on earth
Habitat-
A place where an organism lives
Niche-
The role, or job of an organism
Food chain-
A model, a simple way of showing how energy, in the form of food, passes from one organism to another
Energy pyramid-
Compares the energy available at each level
Limiting factor-
Any biotic or abiotic factor that limits the number of individuals in a population
Carrying capacity-
How much an ecosystem can sustain
