What factors led to a decline in feudalism?
several factors lead to the decline in the feudal system one was that theywould drain swamps getting more land an thus having surplus crops that the peasents could sell then the peasents would buy there freedom and move to cities there they became the middle class and made powerful guilds that took away power from the local lords. The black death also contributed to the decline in the feudal system because with the labor shortages.
How was farming production increased?
Farming production was increased in several ways one was that they would drain swamps to gain more farmland. Another was they would cut down trees to gain more are to farm. The last way was they invented the horse collar because horses could plow more area than oxen could and thus making cheaper to farm large plots of land.
How did the Black Death affect Medieval Europe?
When the black death struck it killed over 25 million europeans many of them were peasants then after the black death struck there were not enough people to work the farm land causing a famine and labor shortages people also began to loose faith. Without labor structures such as manorialism and feudalism began to break down.
