5: full ROM against full resistance
4: full ROM against some resistance
3: full ROM against gravity
2: full ROM with no gravity
1: no movement, but contraction detected
0: no contraction detected
What is the edema scale?
4+ very swollen, distorted extremity, pitting > 2.5 cm and lasts for over 2 minutes
3+ noticeably swollen, pitting 1 - 2.5 cm and lasts 1 - 2 minutes
2+ no marked change in the appearance of the extremity, pitting 6 - 12 mm, disappears in 10 - 15 seconds
1+ pitting < 6 mm , disappears rapidly
What is the DTR scale?
4+ clonus 3+ brisk reflexes 2+ normal reflexes 1+ diminished reflexes 0 no reflex
What is the pulse scale?
4+ bounding pulse 3+ normal pulse 2+ slightly diminished pulse 1+ faint pulse 0 no pulse
