A proposal by Benjamin Franklin to create a unified government for the British colonies.
Treaty of Paris
A 1763 agreement between British and France that ended the French and Indian War and transferred much of North America from French to British control.

A formal written request to someone in authority that is signed by a group of people

To refuse to buy or use certain good or services.
Repeal
To cancel; remove from law.
Writ of assistance
A legal document that allowed British customers offices to inspect a ship’s cargo without giving a reson.

The shutting of a port to keep people or supplies from moving in and out.
