What is a hub?
A layer one physical network device with multiple ports.
How many ports can be found on a hub?

What does it mean that a hub is a layer one device?
It means it only understands electrical data. It does not aware of frames, source IP, destination IPs, or any other data contained within the packets.
If a data packet came in on a hub destined for device 2, in a 5 device domain, where would the data go?
The data would be transmitted on all connected ports except where the data came in on.
If a switch does not yet know where a device is on the network, how does it find it?
Broadcasting to all devices
