Q

Vitamin E has what properties and has an important role in which process?

A

It is a lipid soluble antioxidant (free radiacal scavenger) - it donates a H+ atom and electron to free radicals in a non-enzymatic reaction. Therefore it is important for protection against lipid peroxidation.
