dyspnea
difficult and labored breathing during which the pt has a persistent, unsatisfied need for air and feels distressed

When to treat fever?
Treatment of temperature less than 101F is not indicated unless patient is uncomfortable or unable to tolerate fever because of other physical illnesses

Venous access devices; surgery involving the breast, axilla, shoulder, arm, or hand; injury or disease to the shoulder, arm, or hand
malignant hyperthermia
Hereditary condition; uncontrolled heat production, occurs when the patient receives anesthetic drugs

Phase I Kortikoff sounds
Clear, rhythmical, tapping & onset of sound – systolic B/P
Phase II Kortikoff sounds
Murmur or swishing
Phase III Kortikoff sounds
Sounds become crisper and more intense than phase II
Phase IV Kortikoff sounds
Muffled, low-pitched
Phase V Kortikoff sounds
Disappearance of all sounds & diastolic B/P in adolescents & adults
