How does the broad ligament attach to the ovary
A
- Infundibulopelvic / suspensory ligament of the ovary
- attaches from the pelvic side wall to the superior pole of the ovary
- contains ovarian vessels - Ovarian ligament
- attaches from the inferior pole of the ovary to the uterus
- continues on as the round ligament - Mesovarium
- fold of broad ligament incorporating the ovary

Describe the origin of ovarian arteries and drainage of ovarian veins.

Arteries
- Arise anterior aorta below level of renal arteries (which arise at L1/L2)
Veins
- Drain into IVC on right, and Left renal vein on the left
