Rubella (german measles)
Rubella virus
Rash beginning on the face which spreads to the rest of the body.
Low fever 101 °F
postauricular and suboccipital adenopathy and arthralgia (esp adol females)
congenital rubella
seizures, hearing impairments, cloudy corneas/retinitis, heart defects, low brith weight, Blue berry muffin rash, MR
rubeola (measles)
more severe paramyxodvirda virus cough, coryza, conjunctivitis, and high fever (104) 4 days before the rash (exanthem) koplik spots rash starts on face and speads down airborne precautions
Toxo
raw meat or cat feces. Hydrocephalus, intracranical calficications, choirioretinitis, ring enhancing lesions on ct.
other
Other: parvo, varicella, listeria, TB, malaria, fungi
CMV
mc. Peticcial rash, periventricular calcifications.
Syphillis
maculopapular skin rash, lymphandompathy, hepatomagally, snuffles, peg shaper incisors, deadness, interstitial keratitit (photophobia, lacriation)
