Explain lytic cycle
A
Viral DNA activates and instructs host cell to make and assemble new viral DNA capsids
Once enough is made, host cell bursts and virus inserts viral DNA into new hosts

Explain lysogenic cycle
A
Viral DNA inserts into host cell and blends in with healthy DNA in the loop
Can stay dormant until triggered and forced into lytic cycle
