Question 1

Surah 3 Ayah 18

Answer 1

شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّهُۥ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ قَاۤىِٕمَۢا بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۚ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ﴿ ١٨ ﴾

Allāh witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge - [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Āli-ʿImrān, Ayah 18

Surah 58 Ayah 11

Answer 2

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِذَا قِیلَ لَكُمۡ تَفَسَّحُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡمَجَـٰلِسِ فَٱفۡسَحُوا۟ یَفۡسَحِ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡۖ وَإِذَا قِیلَ ٱنشُزُوا۟ فَٱنشُزُوا۟ یَرۡفَعِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ دَرَجَـٰتࣲۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِیرࣱ﴿ ١١ ﴾

O you who have believed, when you are told, Space yourselves in assemblies, then make space; Allāh will make space for you.[[In His mercy, in Paradise, or in everything good.]] And when you are told, Arise,[[To prayer, to battle, or to good deeds.]] then arise; Allāh will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees. And Allāh is Aware of what you do.

Al-Mujādilah, Ayah 11

Virtues extracted from explanation by ibn Rajab رحمه الله on the hadeeth narrated by Abu Dardaa رضي الله عنه on the virtues of one who seeks knowledge:

Answer 3

Hadeeth narrated in Ibn Majah, Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood:

1- the path to Jannah is made easy/ Allah سبحانه وتعالى makes them a path along the paths of Jannah
2- Angels lower their wings in pleasure/protection
3- inhabitants of the heavens and earth make dua for the scholar
4- the Virgie of the scholar over the worshipper is like the moon over the stars (the worshipper worships all night but the scholar also benefits others along with himself)
5- inheritors of the prophet’s (knowledge not dinar and dirham)

Hadeeth narrated by Muawiyah رضي الله عنه in Saheeh Bukhari and Muslim

عن معاوية رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏ “‏من يرد الله به خيرًا يفقه في الدين‏”‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏

Question 5

Surah 35 ayah 28

Answer 5

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱلدَّوَاۤبِّ وَٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ مُخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَ ٰ⁠نُهُۥ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَۗ إِنَّمَا یَخۡشَى ٱللَّهَ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِ ٱلۡعُلَمَـٰۤؤُا۟ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِیزٌ غَفُورٌ﴿ ٢٨ ﴾

And among people and moving creatures and grazing livestock are various colors similarly. Only those fear Allāh, from among His servants, who have knowledge. Indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Forgiving.
