why did the voyage itself cause failure in Virginia?
When the voyage left England it was too late to plant crops in Virginia as it was not the right season
The colonists were taken ill, which weaken them
The tiger ship had supplies on board which got ruined so there was a lack of supplies
Why did the colonists have an impact?
Raleigh had recruited the wrong set of colonists as most of them did not have the skills required to survive
The colonists lacked farmers but there were a lot of craftsmen, which meant those setting up in Virginia could not set up a new life.
How was inexperience an impact?
The colonists had no idea on who to colonise and no idea on establishing colonies.
How did the Native Americans effect the trip to Virginia?
The Native Americans did not the trust the English and were suspicious of the English, who demanded too much of them
This led to conflict between the English and Native Americans
