Severe dengue - DIC
-thrombocytopenia + spontaneous bleeding
FBC - low WCC, PLT
LFT - high aminotransferase
GOLD STANDARD - NAAT

Viremia - sudden onset high fevers, rigors, N+V, bradycardia

Toxic phase - jaundice, hematemesis, oliguria
