-day dental patients
-day endoscopy
-minor derm
-children unless high risk
-maternity and obstetric patients except for elective CSections and any high risk cases

-skin lesions/wounds

-suppression
-treatment

A

Suppression - nose
Mupirocin 2% in white soft paraffin TDS 5/7

Suppression - skin
Chlorhexidine gluconate OD 5/7
-apply especially on axilla, groin, perineum

Treatment
1st line - vanc
Pen allergic or 2nd line - teic,, linezolid

Skin infection
-painful, swollen
-warm
-purulent
-red

May lead to beoming systemically unwell
-high fever
-SOB
-chills
-dizzy
-confused
