Q

Tell me a time you had difficulty working with a team member or a group member?

A

At my university LSE, i was assigned a group project for my marketing module, in which we were assigned random groups of 5. I believe team work is great for learning new perspectives and gaining advice from like minded indiviudals. I decided to send an email to all the group members and introduce myself and ask for their numbers to make a whatsapp group chat. Everyone corresponded to this, when i made the chat we agreed to meet up on day in person, just to get to know each other and break the ice more informally. One group member didn’t turn up and didn’t reply to any of my messages on whats app, despite him being active on whatsapp for 2 days. As a group we thought it was very disrespectful. I had a sense in our marketing class that the student was very quite and quite introverted. So i was determined to build a good relationship with him. I met up with him after class and asked whether he would like to join me in getting lunch, he agreed, we spoke, and i made some jokes, introduced myself more. From that he became more confident and replied in the group. In the next group meeting we was all shocked to see how much research he did, and how much advice he gave everyone in the group to a high level.

Q

What did your last manager say about you?

A

My last job involved me working as a football steward, for a majority of london football stadiums. My manager last said to me when i decided to leave the company due to education, you are very focused and driven on what you want, but more importantly you have a very brave and inspirational personality, he said he was surprised by my intelligence and how natural it felt. He couldn’t believe my age, because it felt like i had so much experience working with different groups of people. Actually for example i worked at a tense derby match, The north london derby on the 26th of september, and there was a group of people standing and sitting on the stairs, not listening and cooperating with my colleague, she was becoming frustrated and i noticed, she wasn’t presenting her self in a professional manner, so i approached the group in a calm relaxed manner, but i exchanged a joke, were i received a positive reaction, then kindly asked whether they could move, due to safety reasons and they cooperated.

Q

Do you think banks are more or less regulated and why?

A

I believe banks are more regulated today and should be regulated today, from the events of the 2008 financial crisis, when banks are trying to make profits, they take on many risks which we have seen in the financial crisis. when bank issued mortgage loans to subprime people, ie low income meaning, who were likely to default meaning that, leading to a whole cumnation of a lack of funds available for banks. Thus banking regulation is important to restrict these banks where they can make investments to.

In addition banks are a huge part of the financial system, so regulation is more fierece than it is especially with the effects of covid 19, if a banking crises happens, lots of groups in the financial system suffer, so regulation today is more than important, to reduce this risk of failing.
Regulation is used to make it less likely people will take out their money unexpectedly. There is a deposit guarantee scheme that ensures that even if a bank fails all deposits under £85,000 will be protected.

Q

Who inspires you the most and why?

A

Unfortunately, ex- footballer today who was a shop owner of the brand fresh ego kid named marvin morgan, he was a shop owner which a had a very good rapport relationship with and whenever i spoke to him, he spoke to me about the importance of an education and the idea of preserving your identity and purpose, make sure you fight for what you believe in, do not be scared to try something new and funny enough he told me, make sure that people are jealous of you, so they hate on you because it must mean your doing something good. This has really inspired me because its how i live my life with no fear of being wrong, i want to be the best possible me and then be an inspiration to others, be a role model, i live used to live in an area, where i thought that people didn’t have the best primary socialisation in terms of their day to day activities, i want to be a part of an organisation that where i can maxmise my potential and build long lasting relationships with highly intelligent people.
