Define a victim

A

A person against whom an offence has been committed.

A person whom by means by or through an offence being committed has suffered injury, loss or damage to property.

A parent or legal guardian of a child or young person whom an offence has been committed against or by means or though an offence being committed as suffered injury, loss or damage to property. Unless the legal guardian or parent is the offender.

An immediate family member of a person who as a result of offence being committed has die or is incapable. Unless the immediate family member is the offender.
