1000ft vertically above the highest obstacle and 600m horizontally

CCAATT
Compass, Clock, Altimeter, Airspeed, Turn and Slip, Temperature Gauge
When must you nominate an alternate?
Cloud - more than SCT below alternate minima
Visibility - less than alternate minima or equal or more than alternate minima but with a forecast of at least a 30% PROB of fog, mist, dust or any other phenomenon restricting visibility.
Wind - headwind, x-wind, downwind component more than maximum for the aircraft
A thunderstorm (TS) or its associated severe turbulence.
What is the Alternate Minima?
Cloud Ceiling - 1500ft
Visibility - 8km
Final reserve and contingency fuel requirements?
Final reserve - 30mins
Contingency- nil
What is the frequency band of the ELT?
406MHz - 406.1MHz and on 121.5MHz
Flight Notifications Requirements?
All operations must submit a flight plan when operating in Class D & C. You are also required to submit a flight plan or nominate a SARTIME or leave a flight note when apart of an Air Transport Operation, overwater, in a DRA.

600m horizontally
1000ft below
500ft above
5km visibility
VMC Criteria for A,C,E & G
3000AMSL or 1000ft AGL - Clear of cloud, 5km vis, In sight of ground or water.
Below 10000ft AMSL - 5km vis, 1500m horizontally, 1000ft vertically

Accuracy of the altimeter before flight?
Within 100ft or 110ft if test site is above 3300ft
