What is Class B weather minimums? And why?

A

3 miles visibility, clear of clouds.
Because in Class B there are so many aircraft that it is highly controlled by radar and the airports tower that they will keep you away from other aircraft.

A

A

5 miles visibility, 1000’ above and below, 1 statute mile horizontal.
Because of the high airspeeds at which aircraft travel at those flight levels, you will need more space to allow for deconfliction.
