  1. After a major overhaul or airframe repair
  2. Modification of more than 1% of the basic weight are made
  3. Mods or parts replacement that do not allow for an accurate weight adjustment e.g. Painting
  4. At least once every two years for Class 2 aircraft
  5. Anytime the weight and balance records are suspected to be in error
