General WE discussion
Case 1: E-cuniculi in Rabbit, had a dragging tilted head = clear sign of e.cuniculi suspicion, parasite that causes swelling in brain, zoonotic disease (one health), commonly bought predisposed to disease with no knowledge, clinical signs not reversable, medication can prevent further deterioration. It resulted in GI stasis which is dangerous and common due to poor husbandry (educating owners)
Case 2: QMH black lab puppy fractured ulna and radius, had surgery, plate placed to fix fracture but now is lame, physical exam: biggest concern = growth plate of one of the bones is obstructed and only radius continued growing, ulna stopped, ulna and radius could possibly fuse due to inflammation. CT scan lame and non-lame limb to compare. CT scan showed elbow had been displaced due to the plate screws going through ulnar, restricting its ability to keep growing.
Dedication
Musical Theater, rehearsing three times a week, time management.
When I set my mind on a goal I will achieve it, unafraid to ask for help along the way, as long as a get there
