catheterization of bladder, instillation of solution containing iodinated contrast , VCUG or radionuclide cystogram respectively

low-pressure VUR
VUR during voiding
high pressure VUR
less likely to resolve
VUR in children with low pressure VUR
mean age of VUR resolution
6 yrs old
medical therapy for VUR
observation with behavioral modification or behavioral modification with antimicrobial prophylaxis
When is prophylaxis recommended in patients with VUR?
children at greater risk <1yr old
children with bladder and bowel dysfunction
