What do Amphibians need for reproduction and why?
Water because,
- The female covers the eggs with a jelly-like substance that causes the eggs to float to the water’s surface.
- Gives the creatures higher chances of for one of the larvas to survive. (They lay over 1000 eggs)
Reptilia

How come reptiles don’t need water for reproduction?
The eggs are amniotic, so they can be laid on land instead of in water. The eggs are more mature than eggs from Amphibians.
