What does ser mean and where do we use it in terms of describing a person?
Ser means ‘to be’. We use it when we are using adjectives such as tall, short, etc., as well as when we are describing a red head, a blonde or a brunette.
What does estar mean and where do we use it in terms of describing a person?
Estar means ‘to be’. We use it when we are using adjectives such as happy, sad etc. (emotions).
What does tener mean and where do we use it in terms of describing a person?
Tener means ‘to have’ we use it when we are describing someone’s hair or their eyes. When describing hair we use black hair, NOT brunette.
What does llamarse mean and where do we use it in terms of describing a person?
Llamarse means ‘to be called’ We use it when we are describing the name of someone.
What does llevar mean and where do we use it in terms of describing a person?
Llevar means ‘to wear/carry’. We use it when we are describing ones clothing or their beard and moustache.
