What is the word order of verbal sentances?
- Verb-Subject-Object (VSO) order in verbal sentences.
- This means the verb comes first, followed by the subject and then the object
- “أكلتُ التفاحة” (akaltu at-tufāhah) means “I ate the apple”
* “أكلتُ” (akaltu) is the verb,
* “أنا” (ana) implied as the subject
* “التفاحة” (at-tufāhah) as the object
