A
v. jugularis externa
4
Q

A
v. subclavia and v. jugularis externa
5
Q

A
v. cava cranialis
6
Q
What does V. cephalica accessoria drain?
A
The dorsal aspect of the Manus
7
Q
Route and connections of v. cephalica accessoria
A
- Runs proximally on the antebrachium
- Joins v. cephalica in the distal third of the antebrachium
8
Q
What does the v. cephalica drain?
A
The palmar aspect of the Manus
9
Q
Route and connections of v. cephalica
A
- Runs proximally over the medial palmar surface of the carpus and onto the cranial surface of the distal antebrachium, where it is joined by v. cephalica accessoria.
- Proximal to the elbow it is joined by v. mediana cubiti.
- Continues between the lateral border of m. cleidobrachialis and lateral head of the triceps, there it gives rise to v. axillobrachialis.
- Passes under the proximal m. cleidobrachialis and joins v. jugularis externa, deep to the m. cleidocephalicus pars cervicalis
10
Q
Route and connections of v. axillobrachialis
A
- Arises from v. cephalica on the lateral head of the m. triceps brachii.
- Gives off the v. omobrachialis.
- Passes under the m. deltoideus pars scapularis and caudally to the proximal humerus to join v. axillaris
11
Q
Route and connections of v. omobrachialis
A
- Arises from the v. axillobrachialis
- Runs over the m. deltoideus pars acromialis ans m. cleidocephalicus pars cervicalis.
- Joins v. jugularis externa cranially to v. cervicalis superficialis and v. cephalica
