Can accomodate 24 - 20g needle.

A
Accomodates 22-18g. Avoid with fistulas

Can accomodate 24-20g cannula. Should NOT be first choice of cannulation

16 - 14g and excellent choice for cannulation.

Usually used to draw blood, can accomodate 16-14g. Best for lots of fluid! Only for short-term.

Hyperextend forearm with palm up to stop it from moving and rolling

A
accomodates 24-20g, aoid at all costs as it runs close to the nerve, may be difficult to palpate.
