Why Do we stabilise Vehicles?
A
- To Immobilise a dangerously located vehicle.
- To Create a solid working platform
- To prevent Further injury to a casualty through movement of the vehicle.
(Quick and simple to do: should take no longer than 45 Seconds).

What equipment do we use to stabilise a vehicle?
A
Blocks/Chocks and wedges Stabfasts Improvised Equipment: -Lines -Winches -Airbags

Aswell as chocking and wedging or stabfasting a vehicle, what else can we do to Stabilise a vehicle?
A
Flat Tyre Chocking

How do you flat Tyre Chock?
A
Sequentially two at a time, front and back using the tyre valve removers.
Deflate Front tyres as a pair with a partner then the back tyres.
Remember to place valves back with the wheel or nearby and inform police so they can relocate and inflate tyres if needed.
