A

A Bitmap image is made up from pixels. These may be distorted through resizing however they take up less processing.

  • Less processing required
  • Greater range of editing available through Paint or Photoshop etc.
  • Universal file type, photographs taken are shown as bitmap images

Disadvantages of Vectors

A
  • Takes up more processing

- Photographs can’t be put into vector form easily.
