How to manage before LOC

A
  1. give dextrose/glucose
  2. open window
  3. pt supine - returns venous BF and restores BP
  4. give low flow O2

  1. check airway
  2. assess breathing
  3. loosen tight clothing around neck
  4. high flow O2 - 15L/min through NRB mask
  5. plenty of reassurance on wakening
