- skin and mucosal changes - flushing, urticaria, angioedema

managing anaphylaxis
A
- remove source if known
- phone 999
- administer 1:1000 adrenaline IM anterolateral thigh 0.5mg (1mg/ml) - if pt has autoinjector use this first
- give O2 15L/min NRB mask
pt supine to restore BP or in comfy position to aid breathing - repeat adrenaline every 5 mins as required
- reassure pt until ambulance arrives
