managing anaphylaxis

A
  1. remove source if known
  2. phone 999
  3. administer 1:1000 adrenaline IM anterolateral thigh 0.5mg (1mg/ml) - if pt has autoinjector use this first
  4. give O2 15L/min NRB mask
    pt supine to restore BP or in comfy position to aid breathing
  5. repeat adrenaline every 5 mins as required
  6. reassure pt until ambulance arrives
