A
seated
pt extends both hands (palm up) squeezes one, dr compresses radial and ulnar arteries, pt opens fist and dr releases one artery (done on both arteries bilaterally)
(upper arterial incompetency)

elevate leg to 45 degrees, hold, lower leg and help pt sit up with both legs dangling
(+ immediate blanching when elevated or more than 2 ins for color to return when seated)
