Validity
A measure of whether a test measures what it is supposed to measure.
Content Validity
It refers to whether a test or measure covers all relevant aspects of the concept being studied, often checked by experts (expert/panel validity) or participants (face validity).
Construct Validity
It ensures that a measure accurately reflects the theoretical construct it’s meant to measure. This includes convergent validity (correlates with related constructs) and divergent validity (does not correlate with unrelated constructs).

A demonstrable agreement between the concept or construct you are trying to measure and other related concepts

does not correlate with unrelated constructs
Criterion Validity
It checks if a measure correlates with a standard or outcome. Includes concurrent validity (correlates with measures taken at the same time) and predictive validity (predicts future outcomes).
Internal Validity
It refers to the degree to which an experiment’s design and execution allow for confident conclusions about cause and effect, avoiding confounds like third variables or selection bias
External Validity
it looks at whether the study’s results would be the same in the real world with different groups of people.
Predictive validity
Predictive validity occurs when a measure successfully predicts a tangible outcome. For example, GRE scores should predict success in graduate school. See also criterion validity.
Panel validity
Validity as judged by a group of relevant experts. See also expert validity.
Face validity
A question or measure that appears to capture the concept it is intended to capture.

Concurrent validity is demonstrated when a measure correlates highly with other measures designed to measure the same construct
