reliability Flashcards
Test-Retest Reliability
It measures the consistency of a test over time by giving the same test to the same people at different times.
Inter-Item Reliability
It assesses the consistency of responses across different items on a test that measure the same construct (e.g., Cronbach’s alpha).
What is Inter-Rater/Inter-Coder/Inter-Observer Reliability
It checks for agreement between different raters or observers measuring the same thing, ensuring consistency in scoring or observations.
Internal reliability
A measure of whether all the questions in a question set are operationalizing the same concept and not different concepts. See also inter-item reliability.
Reliability
A measure of the extent to which a test or measure performs consistently.
Reliability coefficients
A measure of the extent to which a test or measure performs consistently.
