1

Q

What do vaccines result in?

Q

Reasons to get influenza vaccine each year

A
  1. Antigenic drift: small changes in genes of the influenza virus that leads to changes in viral surface proteins over time (NA and HA)–>new strains
  2. Booster doses requires to maintain immunological memory
  3. Herd immunity
  4. Reduces effects flu
