Q

what are the three types of vaccines? Give a description.

A

Attenuated vaccines: they’re prepared from weakened pathogen.

Inactivated vaccines: they’re prepared from pathogen that have been inactivated or killed by heat or UV rays.

Genetically engineered vaccines: they’re made by modifying the pathogen’s genes by keeping only non dangerous genes or by replacing dangerous genes with harmless ones.
