Contraindications for normal immunisations
General -> Acute illness, Hx of severe local/general reaction
Live vaccines –> Immunosuppressed/impaired cellular immunity, recent immunoglobin administration
HIV –> shouldnt have BCG, yellow fever and oral typhoid

Immunisation schedule
2months - 1st DTaP/IPV/Hib+PCV +Oral Rotavirus 3months - 2st DTaP/IPV/Hib/Men C + Oral rotavirus 4months - 3st DTaP/IPV/Hib+PCV 13months -MMR+PCV+Hib/Men C 2-3 - annual intranasal flu vaccine 3-5yrs - DTaP/IPV, MMR 10-14yrs - HPV for girls 13-18yrs - Td/IPV + Men C
Childhood influenza vaccine
A live vaccine given intranasally at 2-3 then annually. SEs: rhinorrhoea, headache, anorexia. Shouldnt be given if immunocompromised, current wheeze or Hx of severe asthma. Egg allergy or if the child is taking aspirin. Inactivated virus is given to at risk groups

Rabies & the intramuscular form of influenza
At birth vaccinations
BCG and Hep B if at risk
